- Purchase all materials, manufacturing services, and supplies in a timely manner according to prescribed specifications.
- Negotiate the best possible prices and terms through competitive bidding and periodically conduct pricing surveys.
- Establish and maintain an approved supplier listing.
- Issue purchase orders and review invoices for approvals for orders without purchase orders.
- Expedite all orders so they arrive in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with internal customers and ensure company quality standards are met.
- Work harmoniously, cooperatively, and courteously with others at all times.
- Follow directions and instructions from supervisors.
- Perform various tasks and duties that may often change as the work conditions require.
- Work within defined standards of accuracy.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Thorough understanding of all purchasing documents and processing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- High School Degree
- 2 years of purchasing experience
