Driller Helper— San Antonio, TX
A driller helper is responsible for assisting with safe and efficient drilling functions and the maintenance of equipment. Primary responsibilities include :
- Assist the driller with all field activities, including but not limited to, lifting and assembling / disassembling drilling pipe and augers, operating small pumps and air compressors, shoveling material, and assisting with sample retrieval
- Drive pickup trucks with while towing trailers or equipment
- Assist the driller and drilling manager with maintenance and repairs to drilling rigs
- Clean drill rigs, trucks, and equipment
- Participate in safety meetings
