Responsibilities
- Perform and/or oversee a variety of field activities, such as collecting samples, preparing field boring logs, staking boring locations, and testing field electrical resistivity
- Design, communicate, and direct plans for projects with field and laboratory staff
- Develop engineering recommendations
- Prepare engineering reports, foundation design calculations, analyses, and plans under the supervision of a licensed professional engineer
- Communicate with clients regarding the status of projects, results of field and laboratory testing, and engineering recommendations
- BS in civil engineering (MS preferred)
- Zero to five years of geotechnical engineering consulting experience
- Georgia Engineer-in-Training certificate
- Good driving record
