Survey Manager- Nashville, TN
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Survey Manager to lead and oversee our survey department in Nashville, TN. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership abilities, and strong communication skills to manage a team of surveyors and ensure the timely and accurate completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the survey department, including supervising teams of survey technicians and professionals.
- Oversee and coordinate all survey activities to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.
- Review survey reports, plans, and data to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members in the field and in the office.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging professional growth and development within the team.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project needs and deliver survey data in a timely and efficient manner.
- Stay current on the latest surveying technologies and trends, recommending improvements and innovations to enhance department operations.
- Active Tennessee Registered Land Surveyor License
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in land surveying, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proficiency with surveying equipment, software, and techniques.
- Strong knowledge of surveying standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to job sites as required.
