">We are seeking a skilled Stitcher to join our Costume Shop team. In this role, you will work closely with the Costume Shop Supervisor to bring costume designs to life on stage, applying your expertise in costume construction, tailoring, and alterations.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Complete assigned costume alterations to ensure precise fit and functionality
- Collaborate with the costume team to efficiently complete projects
- Work with performers and staff to create a positive and professional environment
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to OSHA standards and safety protocols
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you should have:
">- Relevant experience in costume construction, tailoring, or related field
- Strong sewing skills, including proficiency in machine and hand sewing techniques
- Knowledge of theatrical construction and quick rigging techniques
- Familiarity with shop equipment and ability to operate industrial and domestic sewing machines
Benefits and Compensation
">We offer competitive pay, ranging from $20.50 to $21.00 per hour based on experience, as well as limited housing options at $50 per week.
