What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shift Lead - Bilingual Spanish position at Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District?
Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District (THPRD) is looking for a shift lead at Conestoga Recreation & Aquatic Center (CRAC).
The shift lead position provides the first point of contact for our patrons with a focus on creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

This position requires candidates to be conversational in English and Spanish.
We are currently searching for multiple positions and shifts. Schedules include:
Wednesday to Friday: 2:00pm – 9:45pm
Saturday & Sunday, based on center need
Event Support shifts
This position is open until filled.
Job duties may include (but are not limited to):
Greet the public, creating a positive experience for customers through professional and courteous behavior, providing information and assistance regarding schedules, program descriptions and other general district information over the phone and in person
Answer telephone and direct calls to appropriate personnel and take accurate messages
Assist the public with program enrollment by, signing participants up for programs, record retention, cash handling, and performing related registration procedures
Assist with the daily cleaning and sanitization of work and public spaces, equipment and program supplies to maintain the health and safety of all participants and staff
Education & Experience
Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and ability to perform the duties as outlined is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be as follows:
Experience:
One-year general clerical experience, including public contact, and exposure to recreational programming
AND
Education:
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.
Licenses and Other Requirements:
Fluent in Spanish
Current CPR and First Aid Certifications
Must be 18 years or older
