Job Details
Tuba City Regional Healthcare provides services to a 4,400 square mile area and serves as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations.
The hospital was constructed in 1975 with a bed capacity of 73.
Services provided include comprehensive inpatient / outpatient emergency services, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB / GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery and urological procedures.
Approximately 49% of the surgeries performed are outpatient / ambulatory surgical procedures.
The nursing staff includes registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, community health nurses, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, CRNA, and community health medics.
Job Requirements
Must have current immunizations.
Must maintain a current valid certification of the following throughout employment :
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required within one (1) year of hire from American Heart Association
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) required within one (1) year of hire
Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required within one (1) year of hire
National Institutes of Health (NIH) NIH Stroke Scale must be completed (within 6 months of hire)
Emergency Severity Index Level 5 within 3 months of hire and Patient Sitter Competency Training (upon hire)
Schedule Information
Orientation every two (2) weeks only.
Unit Specific Information
The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration for specific patient conditions and treatments.

COVID EXEMPTIONS : We do not accept religious exemptions. If a candidate submits for a medical exemption, we will have to get approval from our medical review board to proceed with onboarding.
