Position Overview :
We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in the Houston, TX area. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting on technical grounds our special components, tubular products and bars / billets to key users, engineering companies and other key decision makers in the Americas market. You will leverage your technical expertise to build strong relationships, identify customer needs, and provide tailored solutions with the ultimate goal to secure sales for the group.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and engage with potential customers in a variety of segments like Process industries including Chemical, Petrochemical and Hydrogen, and other segments like Defense, Aerospace and Upstream.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the features of our products, developing compelling value proposition for the potential clients.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and grow market share in the Americas.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met, including the offer preparation. Present technical-commercial proposals to customers.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
- Promote long-term agreements with customers for special products.
- Regularly visit prospective clients (2 / 3 of your time) and participate in fairs and exhibitions in the Americas.
