We are seeking a self-starter to join our team as a Maintenance Technician! Tube Wright Inc. is a world-class manufacturing company dedicated to providing high-quality tubing and cooling assemblies. Our parts keep your ATV cool, make your SUV cooler, and help the world’s supply chain run smoothly.In this role, you will maintain and repair a variety of automotive manufacturing equipment, including end-form presses, hand benders, and CNC benders. You will collaborate closely with our tooling and production teams to ensure equipment operates efficiently and downtime is minimized.Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and failures.
- Perform regular maintenance on all production machines and equipment, including preventative maintenance.
- Conduct building maintenance as needed.
- Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs to production equipment.
- Replace or repair machine components and make adjustments as necessary.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
- Carry out any additional maintenance duties assigned by the Assistant Plant Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
- Five years of manufacturing maintenance experience is required.
- Strong hydraulic and pneumatic skills are essential.
- Ability to troubleshoot PLCs.
- PLC programming experience is not required (the company is willing to train).
- Solid understanding of electrical fundamentals.
- Experience with 480V 3-phase electrical systems.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools and specialized tools as needed.
- Knowledge of CNC benders and end-form presses is preferred but not required.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is highly active and requires standing, walking, bending, and kneeling throughout the day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
