Tubular Steel (a member of the Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. family of companies) is a leading national distributor of carbon, alloy, and stainless steel pipe, tubing, and bar products. We are currently recruiting for Heavy Equipment Operators - Overhead Crane and Pettibone - for our warehouse in St. Louis, MO.
Available Shifts are 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 2:15 PM - 10:45 PM
Approximately 30 minute drive from Wentzville, MO, Chesterfield, MO Alton, IL, Granite City, IL, Glen Carbon, IL, Fenton, MO, Arnold, MO
Responsibilities include:
- Operating 7.5 ton overhead crane;
- Operating large forklifts;
- Operating steel cutting equipment;
- General duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- 2-3 years' experience in a warehouse/manufacturing/industrial environment;
- Ability to read a tape measure and complete basic math calculations;
- Overhead crane experience is preferred
- Good basic computer skills;
- Experience operating a forklift and other industrial equipment.
Applicants must be flexible to work other times on second shift. Compensation is based on Union agreement.
