Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the daycare
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and rest periods
- Monitor and address any behavioral issues or conflicts that may arise
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Ensure the daycare facility is clean, organized, and meets all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare, such as babysitting, nannying, or daycare
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to effectively manage children's behavior in a positive and constructive manner
- Strong caregiving skills with the ability to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of children
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and strategies
- First aid certification is preferred but not required
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children
