Lab Technician (Pharmaceutical)
Location : Novato, CA (On-Site)
Pay Rate : $28.00-$32.20 / HR (Annual of $69k-83k depending on shift)
Must be open to 1 st , 2 nd , 3 rd shift
1-year w-2 contract role (Strong potential to extend or convert to FTE)
Positions may be 5 x 8 hour shift, 4 x 10 hour shift, 3 x 12 and 4x12 hour shift. Manufacturing operations are 24 / 7, so this requires multiple off shift coverage. Shifts will be discussed at interviews.

Job Duties : Learn biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes including mammalian cell culture, depth filtration, tangential flow filtration, column chromatography, protein purification, and formulation of bulk drug substance
- Operate large scale bioprocess equipment for the Cell Culture and Purifications operations.
- Prepare buffer and media solutions.
- Gain experience with automation systems (LIMS, MES, PI, etc.)
- Work with PCR, Gel Electrophoresis, and Western Blot Techniques
Education & Experience : Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or degree that had lab requirements OR
Salary : $69,000 - $83,000
