Pay Rate: $64/hr.

On behalf of our client a leading pharmaceutical company specializing in the development of therapeutics for patients dealing with life threatening rare genetic diseases. We are seeking for a Specialist, Medical Content and Education that will play a key role in developing medical content and supporting the broader medical education strategy for the company’s portfolio of existing and pipeline products. This role will be responsible for creating and localizing key content assets for Field Medical teams, external engagements, and continuing medical education initiatives in alignment with the medical unit strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, localize, and roll out key content assets such as: Field medical decks, Infographics, Congress assets, Leave-behinds.
- Collaborate closely with regional and country teams, particularly in strategic markets, and interface with cross-functional stakeholders across GMAF.
- Medical-triggered emails
- Collaborate with medical education vendors to create high-quality educational materials.
- Manage the medical materials review process, ensuring timely approvals and incorporation of feedback.
- Assist in reviewing grant submissions for continuing medical education (CME) and independent medical education (IME) programs.
- Partner with key internal stakeholders, including Global medical leads, medical engagement and medical unit leads, scientific communications, and learning and development teams.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies and programs in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Foster partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to advance medical education initiatives.
- Maintain a data-driven mindset to assess and optimize the impact of content use.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: PharmD, PhD, or MD preferred.
- Scientific training or a related field required
- 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry preferred
- Strong background in medical content development within pharma, biotech, or medical communications
- Experience with medical, legal, and regulatory review processes
