Job Title: Training and Compliance Officer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Training and Compliance Officer to oversee and conduct on-site employee training sessions across various job sites. This individual will ensure compliance with safety standards, promote best practices in construction safety, and support workforce development. Using a company-provided vehicle, the Training and Compliance Officer will travel to job sites to deliver training, conduct safety evaluations, and support employees in maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, schedule, and conduct on-site training programs tailored to employees’ roles, focusing on construction safety, equipment operation, and company procedures.
Ensure all employees understand and comply with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and industry standards.
Perform regular job site visits to evaluate compliance with safety protocols, identify potential hazards, and provide corrective recommendations.
Collaborate with supervisors and managers to identify training needs and create action plans to address them.
Maintain accurate training records and compliance documentation, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
Act as a resource for employees and supervisors, answering safety-related questions and addressing concerns promptly.
Support incident investigations by gathering details, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective measures.
Regularly update training materials to reflect changes in safety regulations or company policies.
Conduct safety audits and prepare detailed reports to ensure adherence to established procedures.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in safety training and compliance, preferably in the construction industry.
Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
Ability to develop and deliver engaging training sessions for diverse audiences.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining training records and compliance reports.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites.
CDL preferred.
Certification in safety-related fields (e.g., OSHA 30, Construction Health and Safety Technician [CHST]) is a plus.
Experience with workforce development or employee engagement is highly desirable.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to travel to various job sites using a company vehicle.
Comfortable working in outdoor environments, including construction sites, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
Must be able to stand, walk, and conduct site inspections for extended periods.
Work Environment:
This position will involve frequent travel to job sites and working directly with field employees. The Training and Compliance Officer plays a vital role in fostering a culture of safety and continuous learning.

- Typical working hours are 7:00 am – 5:30 pm (40-50 hours per week).
