Title: Digital Retoucher
Location: Washington, D.C.
Salary: Competitive salary and benefits package based on qualifications; classified as full-time salaried; exempt and not eligible for overtime.
Reports to: Shakir Blanding Bashir, Digital Assets Manager
Position Overview
Tuckernuck is looking for a Digital Retoucher who will support our digital and eCommerce photo retouch needs. They will help retouch, color correct, crop and optimize photo images for Tuckernuck’s website and retouch product photos for marketing and social media use purposes.
Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for effectively communicating with cross-functional partners when problem solving
- Thrive in our environment that is high-volume, fast-paced and feedback driven
- General corrections to adjust contracts, exposures
- Retouch all images to meet the standards of our editorial teams
- Digital Photography retouching including image compositing, color correction, clipping and prepping files for final use
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant experience in the apparel industry, working in a high-volume organization
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Must have experience with Adobe Photoshop CC, Capture One, and Camera Raw
- Experience with color correction, knocking out backgrounds, and retouching
- A high level of initiative in problem-solving
- Ability to work well in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Strong work ethic, results-oriented, and proactive
- Organized, methodical and detail oriented
- Ability to partner well with cross-functional team members
- Excels independently and in a team setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
