General Description
The Technology Director is responsible for the oversight, maintenance, and implementation of all forms of technology on the campus of Tucson Baptist Church and the various websites of Tucson Baptist Church. The Tech Director is responsible for the maintenance of various websites of our ministry, the upkeep of the TBC phone app, the upkeep of on campus technology including: Microsoft Server, PBX server, NAS server, Windows and Apple workstations, VoIP phones, printers, Ubiquity switches, and our Ubiquity door access system.
Education and Experience
This position is a skilled position that would require experience and a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, PowerShell, Wordpress, Wix, servers, Ubiquity server and both software and hardware handling. The successful of this individual will be dependent on the spirit of cooperation and the understanding to maintain and develop the existing workflow and technology on our campus.

Essential Job Functions
- Maintaining the various Wordpress and Wix websites that are essential to Tucson Baptist Church and her ministries. These include the websites for the church, Spanish ministry, academy, preschool, and other various websites.
- Maintaining the Tucson Baptist Church phone application to ensure the visibility in the Google Play and iPhone app stores.
- Maintain the on campus technology. The overview of our technology beings with Cox Internet, Watchguard Filtering, Windows Server and Database, NAS Server (media archives), PBX server (VoIP phone hosting), and a Ubiquity Security System.
- Serve the staff by responding to “Help Desk” requests and ensuring workstations (Windows and Apple) are up to date and online.
- Oversee and distribute workstation credentials that are hosted on Windows server.
- Assist in the campus wide project of labeling Cat5, audio, SDI, and HDMI lines.
- Assist in the planning, organizing, and implementation of campus wide connectivity of audio/visual capabilities in each room. This includes running SDI/HDMI to various rooms to provide service overflow rooms.
- Create and maintain a database for existing campus technology to ensure technology is up to date and protected from attacks from the outside.
- Maintain and ensure the Courtyard Cafe and Resource Center tablets and technology to ensure PCI compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
