Job Summary
Meets with customers & contractors to plan and estimate proposed construction, mainline extensions, etc. Acts as a liaison between company & outside agencies such as City, County & State governments. Compiles information for the completion of various documents & reports associated with gas and electric construction. Work in GIS & AutoCad. Must become familiar with all applicable laws, codes, and regulations that pertain to construction, maintenance, and service in the gas and electric utility industry. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Job Responsibilities
High School diploma or equivalent. Good written and verbal communication skills. Good computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with AutoCad or GIS preferred. Knowledge in areas of Engineering and Accounting also a plus. Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions. This job requires some after hours and weekend call out duties. Must possess a valid AZ Drivers license. The incumbent may be required to perform an operational, maintenance and/or emergency function. Such function may be in a safety sensitive role during the course of the calendar year and might include receiving and acting upon product release calls.

Starting pay rate: $25.32/hr

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
- Verify contractor invoices for payment and complete related company documentation.
- Attend pre-construction meetings, job-site coordination meetings, and Subdivision walkthru's prior to actual construction.
- Coordinates projects to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
- Assign proper accounting to purchase orders and contractor invoices.
- Stake meter & meter station locations and schedule proposed work.
- Address problems and complaints from contractors, customers, employees, and local government agencies.
- Compiles data for various reports including, statistical reports, DOT report, and budget report.
- Monitor the distribution system using pressure charts and the taking of pressure readings.
- Estimate the cost of distribution system modifications such as main line extensions and new installations.
- Obtain permits and right-of-way information from City, County, and State agencies.
- Completes gas and electric availability orders and estimates costs for proposed construction projects.
- Knowledgeable in AZ Blue Stake Laws desired
- Ability to work with people in a team environment
- This position may provide services to affiliates of the Company subject to the UNS Energy Code of Conduct and the related Policies and Procedures.
