Job Description

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Job Specialty : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (18 : 30 - 07 : 00)

Guaranteed Hours : Not specified

Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist. Experience working in the Emergency Department and Adult ICU is required.

License : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Certifications : BLS required, PALS preferred

Must-Have :

EPIC experience preferred
Experience in ED, ICU, Peds, Peds ED, PACU
No first-time travelers
Willingness to float and take on-call assignments

Job Description :

Participate in one day of didactics and two days of orientation in various areas.

Engage in patient care across floors, Emergency Department, ICU, Pediatrics, Pediatric ED, and PACU.

Orientation sessions are twice a month.

Adhere to a floating and on-call schedule as required.

Supervisor references are necessary for application.

Maintaining compliance with local regulations and restrictions, such as living outside a 75-mile radius, is essential.

Plans for time off must not conflict with major holidays unless position is deemed hard to fill.

Familiarity with hospital protocols, adherence to compliance measures, and ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
