What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grounds Worker position at Tucson Unified District?
SUMMARY :
Assist in maintaining school grounds and athletic playing fields.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Basic math skills.
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written / graphic and oral instructions.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
FBI fingerprint background check.
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
Post-offer / pre-employment physical examination and 50 lb lift test.
Must hold a valid Driver's license (Arizona Driver's License required within 30 days of hire)
MVReport - showing no more than the allowable points against Driver's License as described under Governing Board Policy : EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.

Location : Facilities - Broadway & Kino Parkway
Classification : Blue Collar
FTE : 1.0 - 8 hours per day
Work Calendar : 12 month
2 -Positions
1.0 FTE Split between Booth-Fickett and Roberts / Naylor K-8
- 5 FTE
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
