SUMMARY
Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor students’ performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning. Supervises students who are assigned to in school suspension for disciplinary reasons.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Appropriate Arizona Teaching Certificate
Structured English Immersion (SEI) requirement
Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Approved areas(s) in Math, Science, English, Social Studies/History may be required for highly qualified/appropriately certified purposes.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
COMMENTS
Effective: 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR
Location: Alternative to Suspension Department - Sites may vary
FTE: 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
