SUMMARY
Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor students’ performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Arizona Teaching Certificate with a Music, PreK-12 Endorsement
OR
- Arizona Arts Education - (Music) PreK-12 Certificate
- Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
- Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
- Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

- Instrumental Music Fine Arts Teacher pay range $47,400 to $54,900/year

- Effective: 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR
- LOCATION: Elementary AND Middle Schools
- FTE : 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day
- Work Calendar: 9.5 month
- Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
