SUMMARY
Effectively manage the learning environment in a summer school program at a school site by preparing lesson plans, instructing students, evaluating and monitoring students' performance in order to advance student achievement. Understands and appreciates diversity. Works collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrates commitment to continuous learning.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Valid Arizona Elementary K-8 Teaching Certificate
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
COMMENTS
Effective: Summer 2025
Location: White Elementary School - Drexel & Mission Area
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5 hours a day.
Summer School Session Dates: 6/2/25 - 6/26/25
Grade Levels: Kinder, First, second, third and fourth
This position is supplemental and not eligible for district benefits.
