LANDSCAPE TECHNICIAN needed for our expanding business
Tudbink’s Farm is looking to expand our talent of landscape technicians.
We are a quality-focused, detail-oriented company that has a strong sense of teamwork.
While landscape related experience is important, formal landscape education is not required.
PLEASE NOTE … this is not a lawn mowing/snow removal position.
Full time and year round landscape work at both residential and commercial properties. Team player with positive attitude.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Digging, planting various sizes of trees and shrubs, mulching, weed whacking, edging, trimming, and pruning.
- Assist with hardscaping projects, watering and irrigation duties.
- Will provide training for irrigation installation.
- When needed, will assist with retail greenhouse work during season and planter installs.
Requirements:
- Have basic knowledge of landscape plants.
- Operate outdoor power equipment (weed whacker, mowers, etc.), skid loader, augers, chain saw a benefit.
- Ability to lift/move up to a minimum of 75 lbs.
- Be in good physical shape.
- Punctual and dependable with clean professional appearance.
- Be able to work in all weather conditions.
- Willing to work some overtime and Saturdays as needed during busy season (with overtime pay).
- Able to follow layout design and work without direct supervision. Communicate clearly to clients and fellow employees.
- Employees that are hired must not use tobacco on company or client's property (smoking, vaping, or chewing tobacco) due to Tobacco Mosaic Virus
Required Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- One year landscaping experience or comparable experience
- License: Valid PA Driver’s license and safe driving record. Must have reliable transportation to and from our business location
