Established Infant and Toddler Preschool Center is Hiring for Preschool Teacher.
A minimum of 12 ECE units is required. Experience working with children 2-5 years. Applicants must possess knowledge in developmentally appropriate practices based upon the age group. Must also be available from 7:30-5:30
Job Duties and Skills:
- Responsible for maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations and licensing requirements;
- Acknowledges receipt of deficiency notices from community care licensing ; and knowledge to corrects deficiencies that pose immediate threat to children’s health and safety;
- Monitors, inspects and procures safety equipment and trains staff as needed;
- Ensures all staff are CPR and First Aid certified;
- Oversees academic program is conducted according to school’s established mission statement while in alignment with the needs of children.
- Collaborates with Executive Director to establish new policies and educational goals as needed.
-Must be fluent in English
- Evaluates and develops program curriculum and modifies as appropriate;
- Responsible for operations and be on premises during working hours;
- Directs activities such as circle time, art project outdoor activities
-Supervise children, nap, and indoor & outdoor activities,
-Participate in Staff Development and Student evaluation
-Coolaborating with Team
Maintain a professional and appropriate relationship with parents and teachers
Demonstrates patience, respect and a commitment to families & children
Additional Requirements:
Fingerprint Background Clearance
TB Test and Health Screening
Proof of Flu, Pertussis and Measles Immunization of Covid Vaccine required.
Being reliable and consistently punctual is a necessity.
