Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze customer specifications and project requirements to develop detailed cost estimates for conveyor and material handling systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure the feasibility and efficiency of proposed designs.
- Research and evaluate materials, components, labor, and manufacturing costs, to determine pricing strategies.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and lead times for materials and components.
- Prepare cost breakdowns and pricing proposals for customer quotations.
- Assist in optimizing designs for cost-effectiveness while meeting performance and quality requirements.
- Support customer inquiries and modifications throughout the quoting and proposal process.
- Maintain a database of historical quotes and pricing information to improve future estimates.
