What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Service Advisor/Writer position at TUFFY AUTO SERVICE CENTER?
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
- Schedule appointments for tire service, brake repair, suspension work, diesel engine repair, shocks and struts replacement, transmission service, alignment, oil changes, and auto body repair
- Provide estimates for services and communicate them to customers
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Handle cash transactions and process payments
Qualifications:
- experience as a service advisor required
- Knowledge of tire service, brake repair, suspension work, diesel engine repair, shocks and struts replacement, transmission service, alignment, oil changes, and auto body repair is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with customers
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and record keeping
