Job Summary
This is a travel Physical Therapist position that requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
* Assess patients to identify physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
* Implement and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and changing needs
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
* Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and meetings to discuss patient care and coordinate services
* Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
Requirements
* Current KY License as a Physical Therapist
* BLS certification
* 2 years of experience in an acute care setting as a Physical Therapist
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Schedule Information
This is a full-time, per-diem position with a variable schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will be required to work a minimum of 36 hours per week, but not more than 40 hours per week.
