Duties
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create innovative menus and recipes while maintaining high-quality standards
- Manage kitchen staff, including recruitment, training, and supervision
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards
- Oversee inventory management and control costs effectively
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for business growth
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of food service management, inventory control, and kitchen operations
- Excellent cooking skills with the ability to prepare a variety of cuisines
- Understanding of banquet operations and catering services
- Proficiency in food handling, inventory management, and food safety practices
- Leadership abilities to motivate and guide the culinary team towards success
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
