What are the responsibilities and job description for the TC/ASSISTANT DIRECTOR - FAST CASUAL position at Tulalip Gaming Organization (TGO)?
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing, motivating, training, developing, and directing both FOH & HOH as well as Beverage and Bar Teams ensuring they meet and/or exceed expectations in technical skills, accuracy, consistency, and productivity, specific to Fast Casual venues. Ensures that a high level of culinary standards, excellent hospitality and guest service are maintained. Ensures department financial and company objectives are achieved, creating and maintaining proper inventory controls for equipment and supplies.
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. (Copy of either document must be submitted with application)
- Two (2) years of accredited courses in Business and/or Hospitality preferred. (Attach transcripts if applicable)
SKILLS:
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Test required)
- Must have strong math skills related to restaurant industry financials. (Test required)
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of five (5) years leadership experience of a high volume Food and Beverage service operation overseeing 2 or more F&B venues which must include quick serve, casual dining, or, full service restaurant(s) and bar(s) serving wine, beer and spirits.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience managing a Fast Casual team of 30 or more team members.
- Minimum of five (5) years management experience overseeing the development of menus for Food and Beverage venues in a comparable sized operation
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience creating and/or maintaining an annual department profit driven budget in excess of a combined $1 Million.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be certified with National Restaurant Association for SERVSAFE Food Protection Manager Certification course, or obtain within one (1) year of hire. (Attach copy of certification with application if applicable)
- Knowledge of HACCP - Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point.
- Must possess a Health Food Handler’s permit issued in the state of WA or obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Must be able to obtain a Class 12 Washington State Liquor permit within 30 days of hire
- Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit.
- Must have a successful employment history with Tulalip Tribes and/or other employment entities.
