What are the responsibilities and job description for the TC/CONSTRUCTION LEVEL II position at Tulalip Gaming Organization (TGO)?
Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for completion of projects assigned by the Construction Foreman. Installation and repair of specialty items, new construction and repair projects including sheet rock, masonry work, flooring, painting, finish work/cove base, trim, concrete pouring, minor repairs, framing work/remodeling of walls, mudding/taping, carpentry under lament, ceiling tile/grid, trimming, siding, hanging of doors, and installing windows.
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
SKILLS:
- Must have basic knowledge of blueprint reading. (Test required)
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of five (5) years of finish carpentry and construction experience working on varied structures, finishes, and specialty items.
- Minimum of three (3) years painting experience in all aspects of the field.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience operating lifts, to include articulates, scissor, and forklifts in and outside of facilities.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- This position is considered “safety sensitive” and will be required to undergo periodic drug/alcohol testing.
- Must have a current valid Driver’s License.
- Applicants will be required to successfully pass a “medium level” agility exam determining if physically capable of performing the needed tasks of the position.
- Must be flexible to work at all gaming sites, the Tulalip Resort Casino, Quil Ceda Creek Casino, and Bingo.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit.
- Must be able to work any shift assigned to include days, swing, grave, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Must have a successful employment history with Tulalip Tribal and/or other employment entities.
