What are the responsibilities and job description for the TC/SECURITY ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT position at Tulalip Gaming Organization (TGO)?
JOB SUMMARY:
Compiles and keeps department records. Answers telephone calls. Types and files as requested or necessary, drafting and composing business letters and documentation. Performs complex clerical work involving independent judgment and requiring accuracy and speed. Will be operating modern office equipment, including but not limited to personal computer, electronic typewriter, fax machine, and copy machines. Adheres to strict confidentiality requirements.
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
SKILLS:
- Ability to type 35 wpm. (Test required)
- Must have knowledge of basic math principles. (Test required)
- Ability to compose business correspondence i.e., letters, memos, spreadsheets, certifications, etc. (Test required)
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two (2) years secretarial and/or office experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years creating and maintaining an efficient filing system.
- Minimum of two (2) years using Microsoft Office programs.
- Minimum of two (2) years prior experience working with the public utilizing guest service skills.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a valid state driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit.
- Must be available to work any shift assigned to include days, swing, grave, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Must have a successful employment history with the Tulalip Tribes and/or other employers.
