JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing outstanding guest service while answering all incoming calls, providing information, and using selling techniques for guest staying at the resort. Ensures all orders sent to the kitchen are entered correctly and in a timely manner. Assists In Room Dining servers with their orders.
Job Requirements:
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Successful completion of Tulalip Job Ready Program may be considered in lieu of guest service and/or cash handling experience requirement.
SKILLS:
- Must have basic math skills. (Test required)
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of six (6) months guest service experience in a restaurant or in room dining environment.
- Minimum of six (6) months work experience as a host and/or cashier in a restaurant, preferred.
- Previous Room Service Operator experience preferred.
- Prior experience using POS system preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to obtain and hold a WA State Food Handler's card within 60 days from date of hire.
- Must obtain a WA State M.A.S.T certification, Class 12 or 13 permit within 60 days from date of hire.
- Knowledge of HACCP.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit.
- Must be able to work any shift assigned to include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or requested.
- Must have a successful employment history with the Tulalip Tribes and/or other current and past employers
