The role of Engagement and Experience Coordinator drives initiatives within the Campus Engagement and Executive Communications team in fostering pride and connection to Tulane University. Responsibilities include developing and executing brand-aligned events, experiences, communications, and traditions that engage and unify the community. Key initiatives include signature annual events like Commencement, Convocation, Tulane Future of Energy Forum, Presidential Speaker Series, State of the University, as well as more. The position requires a passion for creative experiential marketing, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proven capacity to manage projects independently and move them forward effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, writing, conversational, and communication skills.
- Ability to create detailed project plans, monitor, and report on progress including milestones and dependencies, ensuring minimal disruption of deliverables.
- Capacity to remain calm, focused, and productive in high-pressure, fast-paced settings, such as live events, while ensuring successful outcomes.
- Ability to build, manage, and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships, both independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to lead project teams and engage others in developing innovative solutions when issues arise.

- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Two years experience in marketing, communications, event coordination, program management, or related field.
