This position is responsible for the welfare, health, safety and fostering the development of the children in care.
- Ability to relate sensitively to children and their families.
- Able to work cooperatively with parents and staff.
- Must be agile and energetic enough to perform daily work required for the care of infants, toddlers, and / or children.
- Ability to lift, move, push, pull or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as the ability to sit, stand, walk or run required.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education
- Five years professional child care experience
