The Patient Support Mentor will provide parenting education and supportive services to DCFS-referred children and families.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to observe/interact with children across the age range (0-18) and their parents/caregivers
- Excellent writing skills
Required Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with child development
- Experience with children and families
- Bachelor’s Degree in psychology/social work or related field
- Spanish language fluency – oral and written
