The Patient Support Mentor will provide parenting education and supportive services to DCFS-referred children and families.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Ability to observe/interact with children across the age range (0-18) and their parents/caregivers
  • Excellent writing skills


Required Education and/or Experience


  • High School Diploma or equivalent


Preferred Qualifications


  • Familiarity with child development
  • Experience with children and families
  • Bachelor’s Degree in psychology/social work or related field
  • Spanish language fluency – oral and written
