Summary
The Senior Administrative Program Coordinator is an administrative support position that assists the Director of Strategy and Operations in a variety of office support and/or administrative tasks including but not limited to calendar coordination, room reservations, and scheduling of meetings; office operations coordination, event coordination; travel arrangement preparation; meeting preparation; budget management/processing of financial transactions; data entry; preparation of correspondence, communications, agendas, and documents; taking notes; supply ordering; tracking of metrics; answering phones and greeting constituents. The nature of work is primarily manual. The position completes routine tasks with a limited degree of supervision.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills, and ability to pay close attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Basic Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Power Point
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work occasional nights and weekends
Required Education and/or Experience
• High School Diploma and 2 years related/transferable experience
OR
• Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications
• Commitment to the values of an institution of higher education.
• Budget and accounts management expertise.
• Customer service experience.
Compensation Information
This position is classified as "non-exempt, hourly" and is assigned to pay grade 24.
