The Talent Acquisition Recruiter works with designated schools/departments as a proactive, strategic partner to provide comprehensive recruitment services to support the University’s strategic mission to source, attract, hire and nurture a talented and diverse staff. The Recruiter works under the direction of the Director of Talent Acquisition and the Talent Acquisition Manager. A wide degree of creativity, short and long term recruiting vision, business understanding, assertive outreach, and personal organization is required. The Recruiter stays abreast of staffing and recruitment marketing trends; develops and upholds the Tulane employment brand. Provides stellar customer service to enhance the candidate experience. Represents the University at job fairs, career days, campus visits, community recruitment activities and other sourcing activities. Stays abreast of local, state, and federal hiring regulations. - Strong knowledge of sourcing, recruiting and onboarding methods, procedures and practices.
- Knowledge of classification and compensation methods, procedures and policies.
- Experience coaching and training hiring managers
- Demonstrated experience with process improvement and best practices
- Highly functional knowledge of employment regulations specific to the DOL, EEOC and other relevant state and federal employment law.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, results driven environment
- Effective multi-tasking and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple searches and deliver a high level of service to internal and external customers.
