Minimum Qualifications
possess a minimum of 8 years’ of industry (IT) experience in the analysis, design, coding, unit and integration testing and deployment of application code as well as superior communication skills (both verbal and written). Additionally, the contractor must demonstrate specific experience in developing reports for end users. The contractor must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
Role Description:
- -Writes and/or update reports (ad hoc and canned) within SAMS or other Department identified sources to create and meet the Department’s monthly metric requirements.
- -Performs trend analysis of most frequently occurring APS issues; identifying commonalities and areas for improvement; training needs; etc., and reports findings to the Director of the APS Division.
- -Ability to navigate, write and generate ad hoc queries for detailed data analysis and requests from SAMS and various Microsoft Access databases.
- -Assists in preparing documentation and ensuring data is properly reviewed by the Data Governance committee when appropriate.
- -Oversees the statewide collection of data ensuring the integrity of all APS data.
- -Develops and maintains standards for integrity of all APS data.
- -Conducts research and uses research techniques to gather and compile data and apply appropriate statistical methods in analyzing data.
- -Uses the data accumulated from the evaluation design to measure the contractors performance against Department goals, priorities and objectives to identify program improvements and effectiveness.
- -Organizes, manages and provides data analysis for statewide program reports using various data collection methods and tools.
- -Oversees data collection and prepares regular narrative and statistical reports of APS performance, including monthly statistical reports to PeopleStat for executive level review.
- -Collects, analyzes and prepares data and narrative for inclusion in the APS Annual Report. Oversees the production and release of the report.
- -Evaluates programs and projects to determine the impact on Departmental goals and objectives.
- -Organizes and analyzes data which may involve reviewing SAMS information, contractor data, or applying statistical methods to analyze data to draw conclusions, make recommendations and implement system improvements and suggest program alternatives.
- -Creates and interprets data reports which detail the results of completed projects, such as the analysis of staff workload, reports of abuse, determination, service implementation, etc.
- -Assists in the development of qualitative and quantitative program metrics and measures and analyzes the measures, recommending changes to best determine program effectiveness.
- -Researches and provides recommendations for technology and equipment to meet the bureau’s objectives. Makes recommendations to Division Director and end users based on analysis.
- -Participates in system developmental meetings/sessions (visioning, business process reviews, business requirements, general system design, and detailed system design) to ensure changes and requirements are properly documented according to feedback from end users and program staff.
- -Presents reports, both orally and written, of work products and analysis.
