Job Summary:
The Licensed Psychologist Manager (LPM) will lead the Psychology Department at a State Correctional Institution, providing clinical leadership and oversight to front-line staff. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing psychological services, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures. The LPM will collaborate with mental health professionals to ensure high-quality care for patients living with mental illnesses and participate in multidisciplinary quality improvement meetings to address patient safety and quality concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement psychological services in accordance with DOC Policy 13.8.1 and Access to Mental Health Care Procedures Manual
- Provide clinical supervision to front-line Master's level clinicians
- Supervise postdoctoral residents in pursuit of licensure as a psychologist
- Collaborate with mental health professionals to ensure high-quality care for patients living with mental illnesses
- Participate in multidisciplinary quality improvement meetings to address patient safety and quality concerns
