Teacher on Special Assignment 25-26 School Year - AcCEL #25-114

Under the supervision of the Administrator of the program and/or designee, the Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) will serve as a mentor and resource, working hand-in-hand with teachers to provide comprehensive support, coaching and training in all instructional areas. This position will focus on strengthening instructional strategies, elevating student engagement, and refining assessment techniques to effectively meet the diverse learning needs of the students in the program. The TOSA’s mission is to empower educators by offering guidance and professional development that enhances their ability to create inclusive and impactful learning environments for students with unique learning profiles. Experience Required: • Five (5) years of successful teaching experience; • Work with handicapped children as teacher or aide; teacher of typical children Education Required: • Valid California Credential authorizing service to severely handicapped students. Other Requirements: • Valid California driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance. • Valid CPR and first aid certifications; • Department of Justice and FBI Fingerprint Response upon hire.

Salary : $70,439 - $123,648
