Work Week: Tuesday thru Saturday. Restaurant is closed both Sunday and Monday!
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our recipes and standards. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all dishes are prepared with precision and delivered in a timely manner. Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in taste and presentation
- Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items or specials
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant role in a restaurant or food service establishment
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
