What are the responsibilities and job description for the Blender Operator position at Tulkoff Food Products, Inc.?
Tulkoff Food Products is a third-generation family-led business proudly manufacturing condiments, specialty sauces and ingredients for retail, food service, industrial and private label customers throughout North America.
The primary role of the Blending Technician is to organize and assist in the formulation and mixing of all blended products within quality and safety guidelines
Hours- 4:30am - 1:00pm
Pay- $20/hr.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick, measure and blend formulas using standard operating procedures and GMPs.
- Operate blenders, mixers, cookers and ancillary equipment without direction and within SOP and process guidelines.
- Ensure proper lot coding, prepare samples for lab testing and work closely with packaging to ensure timely preparation.
- Continually monitor product quality and advise of quality issues.
- Monitor and report on food safety issues when perceived.
- Maintain accurate records and paperwork.
Qualifications:
- Able to lift 50 lb. bags and pails
- Must be forklift qualified (training available)
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Flexible Work Schedule with occasional overtime
- Prior experience preferred
