Under the guidance of the Program Group Coordinator and Program Director, you'll be an essential part of daily operations, leading activities, building positive relationships, and making a real impact on the lives of children.

- Create and Lead Activities – Help design and facilitate exciting educational, recreational, and social experiences that keep kids engaged and learning.
- Ensure a Safe & Supportive Environment – Provide attentive supervision, maintain a clean and organized space, and uphold all safety and behavior guidelines.
- Be a Role Model & Team Player – Collaborate with staff, support program initiatives, and encourage positive interactions among children.
- Build Strong Connections – Communicate professionally with staff, parents, and supervisors to foster a welcoming and inclusive program culture.
- Stay Committed to Growth – Complete required training, including OCFS health and safety courses, CPR/First Aid certification, and ongoing professional development.

Anticipated Schedule
The Program Assistant position is part-time during the school year (September - June) and transitions to full-time during the summer program.
The TASP Summer Program runs for 6 consecutive weeks during the summer months and the Assistant Director is expected to work 40 hours during this time.
The expected working hours are as follows
- School-Year Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM
- Summer Program Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
