Trust and Estate Attorney

Tully Rinckey PLLC, a successful full-service law firm with offices throughout the country is seeking Partner and Senior Associate Level Trust and Estate attorneys to join our White Plains, New York team. The firm’s Senior Trust and Estates Partner is retiring after fifty (50) years of practice, and this is an opportunity to join one of the fastest growing law firms in the country and has the opportunity for major professional growth opportunities (rated by INC Magazine for 8 consecutive years). All attorneys will be supported by a full-service Finance Department, Client Relations Department, Legal Administrative Department, and Marketing Department.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five years’ experience and have an existing referral base and experience advising clients on estate and probate matters, drafting wills & trusts and handling surrogate court proceedings. The ideal candidate will also have Medicaid planning experience. This is an opportunity for those looking to further expand their practice across the New York State legal market and work with peers in multiple cross-marketable practice areas across New York State who are AV rated, ranked by Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers for their skills and results in the practice.

Compensation is based on experience. Lateral Partners will be rewarded for origination and/or portable business. Sole practitioner candidates with a background in Trusts & Estates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

· Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

· Licensed to practice law in New York State and license is in good standing.

· Interest or direct experience in representing individuals in Trust and Estate matters

· Litigation, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

· Dedication to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.

Candidates must be admitted to practice law in the State of New York, licensed in good standing. Interested candidates should provide a resume and compensation request.

Compensation ranges:

Associate Level – $100,000.00 - $125,000.00

Partner Level – $125,000.00 - $160,000.00
