What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent position at Tullymore Golf Resort?
Tullymore Golf Resort is now hiring two individuals to provide excellent customer service to our guests as a Front Desk Agent.
As a Front Desk Agent at Tullymore Golf Resort, you deliver a first impression for everyone that stays in our hotel or calls our resort. Those with a positive attitude and attention to detail will excel in this position.
Working at the Inn at St. Ives, as a Front Desk Agent, you will play an important part in ensuring our guests have an incredible start to their stay and are able to gather information ahead of, during and following their visit.
Key Job Functions:
- Greets and welcomes every guest upon arrival by registering them and giving them correct directions to their accommodation.
- In charge of answering phone calls in a professional manner to provide information regarding resort amenities and services. Refers phone calls to appropriate departments.
- Takes reservations/deposits and handles credit card/cash payments.
- Maintains a clean and professional front desk/workstation.
- Communicates with proper departments as needed for customer service and maintenance requests.
- Gather information from previous shift, and share information with follow shift, and manager, as necessary, to ensure a chain of constant communication between shifts.
- Third shift team members will run the nightly audit program.
- Other duties deemed necessary by manager.
Our Perfect Candidate:
We’re looking for a candidate who can communicate a smile through a phone conversation and greet every guest to make them feel welcome. Our perfect team member for this position has excellent customer service skills, an attention to detail and helps to ensure every guest has an outstanding visit.
Position Type and Hours of Work:
This is a part-time position, which averages between 16 - 32 hours per week. Must be able to work weekends and could work holidays. This position is a overnight, third shift position.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift material that could weigh up to 20 pounds and move material that could weigh up to 50 pounds. Due to the nature of the position the Front Desk Agents are required to stand/walk for long periods of time. Must also be able to type, write, speak and read.
