As a Residential Youth Care Worker, who provides addiction rehab services, you have the unique opportunity help the Tulsa Boys’ Home carry out its mission of Changing Lives for a Lifetimen. With your guidance and support young men between the ages of 13-17 will acquire recovery, problem solving/conflict resolution, life, pro-social and communication skills. Our frontline staff foster an environment whereby residents who experience challenges with substance use and/or behavior can improve their self-esteem, sense of hope, ability to cope and see themselves as capable. We are seeking DEPENDABLE, COMPASSIONATE, CREATIVE, ENERGETIC and SELF-MOTIVATED staff with a strong work ethic that are looking to make a difference in the lives of our residents.
YOUR VOICE MATTERS: Utilizing a team-approach model to generate change you will be acknowledged as full and equal member of the multidisciplinary treatment team. You will assist with the development and implementation of the treatment plan and give feedback regarding progress in treatment.
WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO AS AN RYCW (Rehab Specialist):
- Facilitate rehabilitation groups social, life, independent living skills development; wellness & self-care; life-style changes; and recovery principles and practices
- Provide a positive and fun environment
- Encourage and support positive behaviors, and de-escalate challenging ones
- Monitor and ensure safety
Qualifications:
- Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager II w/ODMHSAS or certification eligible
- Self-motivated
- Flexible
- Organized
BENEFITS:
- Pay range $16.50-$21.25/hr., annual pay increases, holiday bonus, etc.
- DOUBLE (2x) PAY when working on 8 designated holidays per year (New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day and Christmas Day).
- Full-time and full-time float positions available.
- Overtime usually available (at a rate of $22.50-$28.87).
