This position is grant funded and renewable annually for up to two years.- Essential Duties
Engage in successful pedagogical practices that cultivate respect and understanding of individual differences.
Design and deliver student learning experiences and assess student progress.
Provide constructive and timely communication with students and colleagues.
Guide and mentor students in and outside the classroom to promote their success.
Collaborate with colleagues to promote learning and professional growth.
Engage in ongoing professional growth and development.
Serve the college and community as an active contributing professional.- Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Engineering.
Demonstrated experience in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
Drafting Experience in SolidWorks and CATIA.
Experience in developing, facilitating, and assessing learning experiences.
Proven success in navigating various teaching modalities, including faceto-face, hybrid, and fully asynchronous online formats.
Practical experience in the application of Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Quality Control, and Drafting concepts in real-world scenarios with the ability to draw connections between academic knowledge and real-world applications.
Commitment to innovative teaching methods, including incorporating cutting edge education technologies and tools, with a focus on experiential learning and the integration of real-world examples.- Preferred Qualifications
CATIA and SolidWorks certifications.
