- Job Summary
New Student Orientation Leaders will work with TCC staff members to facilitate
orientation programs by:
Making contacts with students before, during, and after orientation.
Welcoming new students to the TCC community.
Giving presentations to new students and their family members
Assisting in the preparation of orientation activities and materials.
Explaining academic opportunities and procedures.
Acquainting new students with campus services and building locations.
Aiding in the development of class schedules.
Assisting with the class registration process.
Upholding all aspects of the TCC student conduct code.
This is a temporary position.

Group Interviews:
January 31st 2:30PM
2nd round, Individual Interviews: February 4th-6th
Dates of Training:
March 7
March 14

Starting May 14th, staff will be asked to work on Wednesdays, Thursday's, and Fridays.
Dates of Orientation: TBA. There will be 19-20 New Student Orientations between April 11th and Aug 17th- Minimum Qualifications
Creative personality who enjoys working with all groups.
Current TCC student or recent graduate within the past two years.
Strong interest in helping students and parents learn more about TCC.
Comfortable presenting in front of others, facilitating conversations, and making phone calls.
Work well as a member of a team.

Experience as a successful TCC student preferred.
