Responsibilities
- Decontaminate and sterilize instruments according to established policy.
- Perform quality control and assemble and package instruments according to established policy.
- Properly store sterile items.
- Maintain non-sterile backup instruments in the processing room.
- Perform tracking as assigned by the OR Manager or Sterile Processing Lead Tech.
- Maintains adequate processing supplies and coordinates with material management to order supplies.
- Accurately maintain sterilization records.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- CRCST required within one year from date of hire
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in sterile processing
- BLS Certification
