The seven brands comprising TWG include Tulsa Winch, Rufnek, Greer, dp Winch, Gear Products, Pullmaster and LANTEC. Operating from the Jenks, Oklahoma facility are the Tulsa Winch, Rufnek, Greer, dp Winch and Gear Products brands with Pullmaster and LANTEC brands operating from the Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.

The products and solutions produced by TWG find their way into diverse applications including onshore oil and gas, the utility industry, commercial and governmental towing and recovery, construction and offshore cranes, marine applications including fishing and cargo handling, forestry and mining applications and a myriad of other construction applications.

This position reports to the Director, Operations with responsibility for the direction of TWI and DP’s quality assurance operations concerning planning, process improvement, employee relations and problem resolution by establishing initiatives for improvement in quality.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the supervision of department employees to include the overall direction, mentoring and training.
  • Plans and coordinates quality assurance programs designed to prevent or eliminate defects and assure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
  • Formulates and maintains quality assurance objectives and develops and maintains implementation of ISO Quality Standard.
  • Develops and motivates employees to achieve work and career goals.
  • Plans, promotes and organizes quality and reliability training activities.
  • Investigates and adjusts complaints regarding quality.
  • Helps analyze quality assurance requirements in proposed contract specifications making recommendations as to impact on cost or methods.
  • Develops methods and procedures to assure quality in accordance with agreed upon customer contact requirements.
  • Plans and coordinates procurements, maintenance, calibration and records for inspection and testing equipment.
  • Reviews technical problems and procedures of departments recommending solutions to problems and changes in procedures.
  • Other essential duties may be assigned as required.
  • This position is also responsible for, with authority to follow ISO procedures, initiate action to prevent problems, document quality problems, contribute to problem solutions, verify implementation of solutions, control further processing when a problem is identified, protect the environment, including preventing pollution, analyzing or identifying areas for correction or improvement.


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Associate or technical degree in business or related field; three to five years successful experience; 3 years minimum experience in a supervisory / manager capacity; or equivalent successful combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to travel as required and /or directed.
